Egbert Ennulat plays the Arp Schnitger organ in Cappel, built in 1680. German-born Egbert Ennulat is professor of music at the University of Georgia, having studied with Helmut Walcha and Ralph Kirkpatrick. Schnitger built the organ for a much larger church in Hamburg and it was moved to Cappel in 1816 by J. G. Wilhelmy. The organ retains all of its original pipes as well as some 16th century pipes reused by Schnitger.
