1730 Cahman Organ, Drottningholm

In the palace chapel at Drottningholm near Stockholm where the Swedish royal family resides to this day, the nation’s most famous organbuilder was commissioned to supply an organ for the new chapel and delivered a 1-6 in 1730. Largely intact, the few changes were reversed in 1995 by organbuilder Mats Arvidsson. The charming organ is wonderfully played in grand acoustics by Bengt Tribukait.
