Virtuoso violinist and composer Adolf Busch (1891-1952) has almost been totally forgotten 50 years after his death, even though he played an outstanding role in the concert life of the first half of the 20th century. Teacher of Yehudi Menuhin and Isaac Stern, he was also intensely devoted to composition in the late German Romantic tradition. His organ works are brought to life here by German organist Ludger Lohmann on the 1996 Rieger organ in Stuttgart Conservatory.
