The Anthems of Charles Wood The (nearly) complete anthems of Charles Wood, a reserved and introspective contemporary of C.V. Stanford, are performed by the Choir of Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge. Although Wood served as the choir's first director, most of the works were written for groups outside of his own. A few works for organ solo are also included.
