MaryAnn Crugher Balduf plays the 1890 Steere and Turner organ in the Mabel Tainter Memorial Theater, Menomonie, Wisconsin

OHS convention attendees will quickly recognize the ready smile and engaging programming of MaryAnn Crugher Balduf as she performs one of the yearly recital programs presented through the generosity of distinguished OHS members Norman and Edna VanDuzee Walter. Though the theater acoustic is somewhat less than friendly, Ms. Balduf shows the great variety of the Steere and Turner and presents us with a fine portrait of the organ in the 1890’s environment for which it was built.

The Mabel Tainter Memorial was built to provide its community with an auditorium, library, reading room and club rooms and continues to enrich Menomonie today with an active schedule of events.
