Richards, Fowkes & Co., Opus 15 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville was completed in 2007 with three manuals and pedal and 41 stops to be a major feature of the school’s newly renovated auditorium.
John Brock, Professor Emeritus of Music, plays a recital ranging from Buxtehude to Persichetti to demonstrate the organ and to celebrate this fine addition to the university’s musical resources. A complete stoplist, notes on the music, and registrations, as well as interesting pictures of the organ and its location in the auditorium are included in the accompanying booklet.
