Brahms & Reubke: Bruno Morin Plays 1888 Walcker

The superb and large 1888 E. F. Walcker organ in the State Church at Winterthur, Switzerland, has recently been entirely restored by Th. Kuhn with all original mechanism in the splendid building as seen on the cover of The Tracker Vol. 44, No. 4. The organ resides in an earlier case. Bruno Morin (winner of the Grand Prix d'Interprétation at Chartres in '94) plays it on this new CD with ideal works for its German Romantic style: the Reubke Sonata on the 94th Psalm and Brahms' 11 Chorale Preludes, op. 122, as well as the Prelude and Fugue in g.
