The Complete Organ Works of Kenneth Leighton Before his retirement, Dr. Dennis Townhill recorded the complete organ works of his close personal friend, Dr. Kenneth Leighton. Townhill, who was elected a Fellow of the Royal School of Church Music (among many other distinctions), performs at St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Edingburgh, Scotland, where he was Organist and Master of the Choirs from 1961 to 1991. The organ, originally built in 1879 by Henry Willis, has been restored several times, including restorations by Robert Hope-Jones and the Harrison and Harrison firm.
