Faythe Freese Plays 86-rank Holtkamp, Tuscaloosa


Faythe Freese teaches organ students at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where the Holtkamp firm built their largest tracker organ in 1988 with four manuals and 86 ranks (16’ choruses in three divisions and two 32’ stops in the large Pedal). This recording supported the nomination for a Pulitzer prize of the work by Pamela Decker.
