The Denver Brass, Lowell Graham, Conductor and Joseph Galema, Organ, perform an interesting program of works departing from the usual fare for these resources. Joseph Galema is Academy Organist of the United States Air Force Academy and Senior Music Director of Cadet Chapel Activities. On this recording, he and the Denver Brass join forces in Hamilton Hall of the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, University of Denver, Colorado. The hall houses a 2002 Karl Schuke Berliner organ of 41 stops, 56 ranks. The CD cover pictures the 1890 Casavant Fréres, Opus 26 organ in the Basilica of Notre Dame, Montreal, Quebec and not the Schuke organ.
