Franck Organ Works: Colin Walsh at the Lincoln Willis

At the 64-stop Father Willis organ in Lincoln Cathedral, Colin Walsh plays the Three Chorals and other works of Cesar Franck with ease and seasoned familiarity.

The Willis organ, in essentially original condition at age 110 after a thorough cleaning and the addition of a tremulant and new combination action in 1999 when it was reopened on its 100th anniversary, is considered to be among the very finest of Willis’s work.
