Transplanted to Berlin's Church of the Holy Cross, Hook Opus 553 was originally built for first Unitarian Church in Woburn, Massachusetts. George Bozeman plays works chosen to show the organ at its best and clearly enjoys the task to excellent result. The CD booklet provides interesting notes by Mr. Bozeman, Barbara Owen and Uwe Pape on the story of this relocation and the design of the organ, probably by William Horatio Clarke.
