Using digital tape recordings from George Wright’s own “Hollywood Philharmonic” organ player system and transferring the data into a system compatible with the playback system of the Plummer Auditorium organ in Fullerton, California’s High School, George Wright’s playing of this program is enabled, even though he never actually played the Plummer Wurlitzer. The interesting notes in the CD booklet describe Wright’s innovation in the use of player mechanisms and a number of devices incorporated into the Hollywood Philharmonic organ relay and playback system when it was built by Bob Trousdale, who is the Producer and Director for this CD.
