The English Choral and Organ Tradition
Organist Janette Fishell joins the East Carolina University Chamber Singers (Daniel Bara, conductor) in performing choral and organ music from some of England's most important and influential composers of the 20th century. Dr. Fishell headed the Organ Performance and Sacred Music degree programs from 1989 to 2008, before moving to Indiana University. She was pivotal in the design of the 2005 Fisk organ (opus 126- St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Greenville, NC) heard on this recording.

A fine choir singing an excellent selection of repertoire in rich acoustics, accompanied by an organist of international acclaim make this a great recording to own!
