He has been Organist at Norwich Cathedral since January 1996 and was also Master of Music from 1996 to 2007. In this DVD he plays one of the largest organs in the British Isles, the Grand Organ of Norwich Cathedral. The majority of the present instrument was built by Norman and Beard Ltd. of Norwich in 1899, although the organ incorporates a number of older pipes from previous instruments. A serious fire necessitated the rebuilding by the firm Wm. Hill and Son, Norman and Beard Ltd. in 1942, at which time divided Great and Choir sections were incorporated at the suggestion of Lt. Col.
