Handel Organ Concertos, Opus 4 Richard Egarr directs The Academy of Ancient Music and plays a 4-stop chamber organ built in 2005 by Robin Jennings in sophisticated and gentle performances of the famous concertos. Egarr’s ornamentation is based on 18th-century barrel organ cylinders which may have been programmed by Handel’s assistant of 30 years, John Christopher Smith, Jr.
