The recently restored 1888 Cavaillé-Coll in magnificent St.-Sernin in Toulouse possesses the “qualities of grandeur and poetic diction” necessary to perform these “odes” for organ. Jean-Paul Imbert, a student of Cochereau and Guillou, has served as organist at St. Eustache and has concertized extensively.
