Product Description

At All Saints Chuch, Tooting, London, Jonathan Willcocks conducts the English Cathedral Singers and Southern Pro Musica (a professional chamber choir and an orchestra of freelance players from London and South of England) in his own works. Jane Watts accompanies on the 1906 Harrison & Harrison organ.

Lux Perpetua draws from several different traditions, including Christian, Hindu and Buddhist sacred texts and poetry. It was commissioned by Hinsdale Township High Schools in Chicago. Gloria was commissioned by Appleton West High School in Wisconsin. Ring ye the Bels draws on Epithalamion, an epic poem by sixteenth century English poet Edmund Spenser. It was commissioned by the Maidenhead Chamber Choir in Berkshire, England.

At dawn the ridge emerges
