Born in 1950 in sourthern Poland, this fine organist and improvisateur studied widely (notably with Isoir and Chapuis in Paris) and is now Professor and Head of the Organ and Harpsichord department in the Music Academy in Katowice. The organ at Frombork Cathedral is a modern electropneumatic one of 67 stops on 5 manuals, residing in a spectacular 17th-century case and retaining some older pipes.
