Don Thompson reissues two Kimball theatre organ performances. The first is from the Wiltern Theatre, installed in 1931, the 4-37 was recorded in 1971. The Wiltern Kimball was removed in the mid-80’s and is now in storage. It is heard here with another performance on the Kimball 3-25 built for the State Theatre in Philadelphia in 1929 and moved to the Colonial Theatre, Phoenixville. The State/Colonial Kimball has since been broken up for parts.
