Labounsky Plays Langlais Organ Works in 12 Volumes

ANN LABOUNSKY‘s devoted aspiration to record the complete organ works of Jean Langlais has met with universal praise for the results. A leading American disciple of Langlais, Labounsky is his biographer and enjoyed his collaboration in recording the earlier volumes in the series. The series will total twelve volumes. The organs include: 48-rank Bouchet-Debierre at St-Samson Cathedral, Dol-de-Bretagne, France; 115-rank Walcker/Aeolian-Skinner, Methuen Memorial Music Hall; 105-rank Casavant (1963), Calvary Episcopal Church, Pittsburgh; 82-rank Casavant (1977), St. Peter Cathedral, Erie, Pennsylvania.
