Franz Liszt wrote some very interesting works for the organ and was an important figure for the development of the Organ technique and language of his time. His pupil, Reubke, also a brilliant musician, is famous for his Sonata for Piano in b flat minor, as well as the Sonata on the 94th Psalm for organ. This DVD presents this sonata and the lesser-known Trio by Reubke, and five of the most important works of Liszt under the interpretation of Roberto Marini, virtuoso organist of international reputation, on one of the most prestigious Organs of Switzerland: The Scherrer/Walcker/Kuhn in the church of Saint-François in Lausanne.
