Malcolm Archer, who has succeeded John Scott as Organist and Director of Music at St. Paul’s, London, held the similar post at Wells Cathedral where he played the 67 stop organ of 4 manuals and pedal with 5 divisions which was built by Henry Willis in 1857 and enlarged and rebuilt to its present size by Harrison & Harrison.
