Clockwork Organ With great charm, Olivier Latry beguiles us with the sonorous and alluring 1745 organ by Johann Michel Stumm who melded French and south German characteristics at St. Paul’s in Kirchheimbolanden, southwestern Germany. These works all were composed for self-playing organs (also called "flute-clocks," "flötenuhr," "automatic organs," "musical clocks," etc.).
