Reincarnations was recorded during the choir's first season under the direction of Steven Samet. Reflecting the Princeton Singers themselves in a time of renewal, the repertoire likewise explores a series of connections between the old and the new. Many of the works on this recording are joined by common text or theme, although spanning the centuries in the dates of their composition; others address the nature of change itself.
