Reflections: Steven Turner
The organ at Pelham, Georgia’s Hand Memorial United Methodist Church was built by A. David Moore in 1984 and employs an 1853 case from a Vermont organ, re-used by the builder. Moore’s Opus 12 has two manuals and pedal and 20 stops.

In addition to serving as Mayor of Pelham and operating a wholesale manufacturing concern, Steven Turner is the current organist of Hand Memorial Church. On this recording of improvisations he demonstrates the resources of the Moore organ, as well as offering a series of improvisations for piano.
