8 Volumes Several Organists Play

Several organists play the masterful and tuneful compositions of Josef Rheinberger (1839-1901), mostly on period organs by Sauer, Walcker, Link, thus providing a revealing survey of three major builders of German Romantic organs. Eventually, the series will include all of the organ works.

Michael Pohl plays the magnificently restored and unaltered 1905 Wilhelm Sauer organ in the tonal grandeur of the Berlin Cathedral. Sonatas Nos. 2, op. 65 and No. 18, op. 188; Ten Trios, Op. 49.
