Product Description

Beloved humanitarian, physician and organist Albert Schweitzer recorded the three Chorales of Cesar Franck and the Mendelssohn Vater Unser sonata in 1951 and 1952 on the 1931 Haerpfer organ he designed for his home church in Gunsbach, Alsace. The recordings are released here for the first time on a CD. Remastering has yielded a smooth, clear sound.
