Silbermann-Orgel, Grosshartmannsdorf

Organist Reinhardt Menger plays 18th century works composed in Saxony and Thuringia on the virtually untouched 1741 Gottfried Silbermann organ at the church of Grosshartsmannsdorf in Saxony.

Said local minister Johann David Hartwig after the innauguration of the instrument:
"Daß, wenn Deine Orgeln klingen, selbst die Wände möchten singen..."
"That, when the organ rings, even the walls want to sing..."
