Water and Light

Scott Montgomery, 2006 First Place Winner in the American Guild of Organists National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance plays the 4-92 Mander organ completed in 2003 for Peachtree United Methodist Church, Atlanta, Georgia. A divided case which accommodates the church design required the engineering of very long tracker runs for the key action, though the organ does have electric stop action. The organ also holds a 32’ Wood Open Diapason, the first built for a new Mander organ, as well as unenclosed Bombardes at 16’, 8’ and 4’, and a pedal mixture including a Tierce.
